The coming of Shri Vallabhacharyaji (Shri Mahaprabhuji) has a purpose to spread pure devotion to Krishna contrary to prevalent religious philosophy and other beliefs. This began nearly 230 years Goswamishri Madhavraijimaharaj made Junagadh town in Gujarat as his home. Since then this seat of Acharya known as moti haveli has carved a place of honour by its contribution in the historical events.

Moti haveli through its detrmined efforts of Acharyashri Goswami Purushottamlalji had an important role in making Junagadh a part of India at time Independence.
